Prince has inspired my dancing and fashion choices immensely. Purple Rain, the movie, touched me in a profound way, as I too have a father who has passed away. I'm a local burlesque dancer and fantasy writer in Minneapolis. I made a dance to When the Doves Cry, a tribute to Prince, as well as my father. Prince has inspired and influenced me greatly with my dancing and fashion choices — such a precise dancer himself and always having his wardrobe and costumes in concert be an extension of himself, I too feel clothing is body art and a profound way we can express ourselves in the world. Kiss and When Doves Cry are my two all-time fave Prince songs.
