Growing up in Minneapolis as a teenager in the 1980s, I was heavily influenced and inspired by Prince and his music. I spent many days of my teenage years painting, drawing and writing poetry inspired by Prince. My art is still nurtured by the creative energy of artists and activists that live in this city and around the world who work to create a beautiful community for everyone. I believe that we must celebrate Prince's legacy by supporting our artistic communities and investing in our youth, so they can live fully and pursue their dreams.

Over the years, Tammy has created many works of Prince-inspired art, including the public art commission for a utility box display found at 38th & Park Avenue. Tammy warmly welcomes Prince visitors to ColorWheel, her community gallery and shop. She designs and publishes Prince coloring books, creates Prince inspiration craft packs, and regularly hosts popular Prince coloring parties and other Prince-inspired events at her community & arts hub.
